First Article Inspection

Our RE 1000 system simultaneously captures the geometry of both the internal and external surfaces of a part. This means, at last, you can have accurate and reliable critical volumetric and dimensional analysis. 

Mold Verification

By using our RE 1000, not only can the volumetric and critical dimensions of a mold be analyzed, but an STL file can be sectioned and evaluated without loss of geometric data. For extremely complex surfaces the parts point cloud can be overlaid onto a given solid model to produce a color gradient (with adjustable parameters) showing the deviation of the first article's point cloud to the CAD model. Front, back, and inside differences are clearly distinguished. (Using Imageware Surfacer release 7.0) 

Ongoing Inspection

Once a mold verification or a mold benchmark has been established, parts can be processed through our RE 1000 and compared to the bench mark, to evaluate mold wear and for statistical process control.
